Pakistan Army kills four Indian soldiers in response to LoC firing

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Army, while giving befitting response to Indian forces’ unprovoked firing, killed as many as four Indian soldiers and destroyed their two posts.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing in different areas along the Line of Control (LoC) including Rawalakot’s Tetrinote, Manwa, Satwal and Chaffar with mortars and rocket fires.

In utter failure to cap remembrance of Wani's shahadat, Indian forces targeted innocent civ along LOC. Indian guns silenced effectively!
On Sunday, Pakistan summoned India’s Deputy High Commissioner J P Singhfor the second consecutive day and lodged protest over more civilian casualties at the LoC due to ceasefire violations by India, the Foreign Office said in a statement.

Director-General (South Asia and SAARC) Mohammad Faisal "condemned further unprovoked ceasefire violations" by the Indian forces.

He said "the deliberate targeting of civilians is indeed deplorable and contrary to human dignity and international human rights and humanitarian laws."

The Director General urged the Indian side to respect the 2003 ceasefire arrangement, investigate this and other incidents of ceasefire violations, instruct the Indian forces to respect the ceasefire, in letter and spirit and maintain peace on the LoC.
